This includes student feedback, the interaction between students and the instructor, and active learning approaches.

Additional demands place an undue burden on students and instructors alike. Streamlining demands on cognitive resources is particularly important when most, if not all of us, are experiencing significant disruption to most aspects of life.

Check with your department for detailed expectations for how classes should be conducted. Instructions for handling out-of-classroom settings, such as clinical or placements in the field, will come from the Chair of your department. 

For Faculty or Students residing out of the country

Your students should be able to access Canvas from any country. Countries may block some URLs. For instance, YouTube and Facebook are blocked in China, so some course links might need to be changed. Students should use direct links to Canvas () and  to avoid search engine filtering.
