Open Enrollment Ends Friday
Open Enrollment ends this Friday, Oct. 31, at 4:59 p.m. Benefits notifications are sent by email, so please remind your teams to check their inboxes and review benefits information for plan year 2026.
All benefits-eligible employees are strongly encouraged to go through Open Enrollment as some benefits selections do not carry over annually. The Open Enrollment website is designed to make reviewing and selecting your benefits easier and more convenient.
Veterans Day Commemoration
On Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. on the Student Green at Risman Plaza, Kent State will pay tribute to those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. A special invitation is extended to Kent State faculty, staff, students and community members who are veterans, active service members or who have family members in the military.
Please note that as a university-sponsored event, employees are NOT required to use designated sick or vacation leave, or lunch periods, to attend the ceremony.
Employee participation in this event should be coordinated with guidance from supervisors or managers to ensure smooth business operations.

We continue to strive for a 100% completion rate for the state-mandated fraud training. Please also be reminded that new employees鈥攊ncluding student employees鈥攁re required to complete the training within 30 days of their start date.
