The Kent State University alumni family grew by more than 2,400 new graduates from its eight-campus system across Ohio as the university held its fall commencement ceremonies. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2025 were recognized with commencement ceremonies at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Dec. 13. The commencement ceremonies were livestreamed at www.kent.edu/commencement.
In total, 2,418 degrees were conferred this fall, consisting of 515 associate degrees, 1,435 bachelor's degrees, 424 master's degrees, 43 doctoral degrees and one educational specialist degree.
More than 1,300 of the graduating students from the Kent Campus and Regional Campuses participated in the commencement ceremonies.
During the commencement ceremonies, graduating students heard from Kent State President Todd Diacon and Executive Vice President and Provost Melody Tankersley. Graduating students also received individual name recognition and participated in the conferral of degrees and tassel turning ceremony.
The Dec. 13 ceremonies for all colleges and degrees were held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center on the Kent Campus.
