
Trent True, M.T.
Biography
Trent True is an associate lecturer in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering at Kent State University. Prior to this role he was employed in the metal casting industry as a Foundry Engineer and Production Supervisor by Harrison Steel Castings. Trent continues a strong tradition of educators, receiving his Master in Technology from Kent State University in 2007.
Trent has served as an FEF key professor for over a decade, teaching manufacturing and engineering students from design to production. Trent True received the FEF/AFS Distinguished Professor Award in 2023, which recognizes key professors at FEF-certified schools.
Trent has developed strong connections within the industry, which provides opportunities for students in the Industrial Engineering Technology program.
