Equal Access exists to equip every member of our Kent State community with the tools to create equally effective physical, digital, and educational access for all.
Achieving a fully accessible Kent State requires the entire Flashes Family. If everyone works to eliminate physical, relational, and digital barriers, many accommodations will no longer be necessary. Helping you remove these barriers is at the heart of our work.
Our passion for accessibility education is reflected in our Learning Hub and twenty-four Equal Access Academy courses taught by instructors across the university. You’ll also see our values in the Inside Equal Access newsletter, published twice each semester. Contact us at EqualAccess@kent.edu.
*Equal Access is joint-led by the Digital Accessibility team in the Division of Information Technology and Student Accessibility Services in the Division of Student Life.
