Crews from Koski Construction Company began work this week on the south side of campus, removing the fencing surrounding an old ballfield and small roadway that bisects Jammal Field. The area is a planned site for the potential future installment of solar panels.  Kent State University is looking to install these panels on four of the regional campuses, including Kent State Ashtabula.  The current location of the field would be the primary location of the 3.2-acre panel project. Elena Neoh, a human resource management major with a creative writing minor, has been announced as the recipient of the 2019 Golden Flash Award. Former NASA astronaut and Air Force Colonel Cady Coleman will be featured during the Kent State University at Tuscarawas TuscTalks Distinguished Speaker Series on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Coleman will share her passion for space exploration, the evolution of women in space and the stereotypes she faced as a woman in a spacesuit.
