Associate Professor Michele Ewing earned the Public Relations Student Society of America鈥檚 (PRSSA) highest honor for Chapter advisor at the organization鈥檚 national conference earlier this month. Fifteen members of PRSSA Kent, along with Ewing, who has served as Kent State鈥檚 Chapter advisor for 14 years, traveled to Boston for the conference, where Ewing received the Teahan Faculty Advisor Award for outstanding service, guidance and contribution to the chapter. TV2 at Homecoming Parade, 2017

TV2鈥檚 news and entertainment staffs will come together Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, to produce a 25-hour live broadcast to benefit Akron Children鈥檚 Hospital. TV2, Kent State Student Media鈥檚 student-run television station, is hosting this fundraiser through Extra Life鈥檚 web platform. Extra Life is an organization that creates gaming marathons to benefit Children鈥檚 Miracle Network Hospitals.
