Kent State University Police Services Officer Tricia Knoles is featured in a video promoting a new training program for police officers in Ohio. The course, titled Blue Courage, is sponsored by the Ohio Attorney General鈥檚 Office. Knoles was one of three law enforcement individuals from Ohio selected to appear in the video. Kent State Police Recognized for Excellence, Earns Reaccreditation
The Kent State University Police Department was recently reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The recognition comes after a comprehensive review of the agency and marks the eighth time the department has received the accreditation award. For the fifth time, the department also received the designation of Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation with Excellence.
