AHEC Scholars Program
The AHEC Scholars Program is a two-year national program of distinction for students interested in health care careers.
Student stipends are available.
AHEC SCHOLARS IS ABOUT
- Understanding the health issues in communities that are considered rural and urban underserved
 - Innovative learning opportunities to address patient-centered health care
 - Interdisciplinary, team-based experiences to help you "stand out" from the crowd
 
ELIGIBILITY
- Sophomore- or junior-level student
 - Interest in a health career
 - Desire to serve communities that lack appropriate health care
