The finalists of the 2016 Stratosphere Juried Art Competition will have their work on display April 20-30 at Kent State University鈥檚 Downtown Gallery, located at 141 E. Main St. in Kent. A reception and awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 21, from 5 to 7 p.m., with competition winners鈥

Printmaking Students Collaborate With Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh
Devo founder Mark Mothersbaugh, who attended the Kent State University School of Art, is collaborating with printmaking students and faculty as part of an upcoming retrospective of Mothersbaugh鈥檚 work. Michael Loderstedt, professor of printmaking, was selected to produce 100 prints to be sold at 鈥

Porthouse Theatre鈥檚 2016 season concludes with 鈥淔ootloose鈥
Cuyahoga Falls, OH - Porthouse Theatre, Kent State University鈥檚 outdoor, summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, will conclude its 48th season with 鈥淔ootloose.鈥 Directed by Porthouse producing artistic director Terri Kent, 鈥淔ootloose鈥 opens July 29 and runs through August 1鈥
