Kent State University鈥檚 Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.

Kent State Receives National Endowment for the Arts Big Read Grant

Kent State University is one of 61 organizations nationwide 鈥 and one of four organizations in Ohio 鈥 to be awarded a 2021-2022 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read grant. The university鈥檚 $20,000 grant will support the Big Read Northeast Ohio, a community reading program and related events focusing on 鈥淎n American Sunrise鈥 by Poet Laureate Joy Harjo from October 2021 through May 2022.
