Kent State Awarded $3.5 Million Choose Ohio First Grants

The state of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that Kent State University has been awarded Choose Ohio First grants totaling $3.5 million to support students in the critical fields of science (including health professions), technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Kent State Retirees Association Gives Back to the Community

Similar to graduating students who become alumni, retired Kent State University faculty and staff wish to stay connected to the university. These employees care about the institution and the Kent State community, and they want to see it thrive. One way retired Kent State community members stay informed is through the Kent State University Retirees Association (KSURA), an organization of more than 800 retired Kent State faculty and staff committed to improving university life.

School of Theatre and Dance Ranked in Top 50 of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degrees by Study.com

Kent State University's School of Theatre and Dance is ranked #50 on Study.com's list of Best Theatre Bachelor's Degree programs in the United States. In addition to this national ranking, the School of Theatre and Dance is one of only two theatre programs from the state of Ohio on the list. In its rankings, Study.com assesses hundreds of universities across the country and selected Kent State University based on academic and career resources, the quality of education, faculty, and more.
